Position: Office Associate

Primary Purpose: Responsible for making sales, confirming reservations, and handling all guest inquiries. As an Office Associate you are expected to provide top of the line customer service. Office Associates are expected to be able to handle multiple tasks, take lead, and troubleshoot any questions or concerns that may arise. All Office Associates are responsible for answering phone calls, providing friendly customer service to all guests. You are expected to Demonstrate our values at New Spirit Vacation Homes by showing respect, and curtesy to all customers as well as employees.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Know all properties in the profile well enough to make sales
  • Be able to determine and provide appropriate property options based off of guest’s budget, date inquiry, guest count, as well as amenities
  • Make Sales- Calls/ Emails/ In Person
  • Educate prospective guests on desired properties
  • Answering phones, responding to guests
  • Inputting Reservations, & Housekeeping Schedule
  • Run/ Post Payments for all incoming reservations
  • Prepare & Audit Paperwork, & Calendars for upcoming arrivals
  • Know how to operate all reservation systems as required
  • Work with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in Performance Development Review Process

Job / Educational Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Available weekday/ weekends
  • General high School Graduate/ GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Two Years in Travel and Tourism/ Sales Marketing
  • Computer Efficient
  • Comfortable communicating with guests on the phone
  • Communicate Professionally & Clearly (Bilingual is preferred)
  • Organized/ Detail Oriented
  • High Level of Integrity  
  • Positive Attitude
  • Must be Honest, Reliable, Self- Motivated, Team Player
  • Vehicle (reliable Transportation)
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and or Holidays as needed

Position: Housekeeper

Primary Purpose: To provide quality cleaning for guests, maintain homes in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. As a professional housekeeper you are to undertake cleaning areas in homes, as directed to ensure the rooms are kept in a clean and in hygienic condition. Housekeeper must provide professional, customer friendly service and assistance to guests at the residences. Demonstrate our values at New Spirit Vacation Homes by showing respect, and courtesy to all customers as well as employees.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean Restrooms, Bedrooms, Kitchens, Spas, Pools, and associated areas
  • Maintain linens and furniture
  • Be responsible for sets of keys throughout the day and ensure they are placed back in their proper place
  • Be Responsible for carrying all necessary cleaning and pepping supplies for homes
  • Report maintenance issues as per procedures
  • Clean domestic kitchens including surfaces, small and large equipment i.e., stove, microwave, ovens, fridges, and freezers
  • Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, wipe down and other final touches
  • Store linen, handle clean/ soiled, incoming/outgoing linens
  • Make beds, change bedding on every bed per home
  • Deep clean carpeted, and non-carpeted areas, soft furnishings, and bedding
  • Clean/Dust fixtures and fittings, mirrors, windows, walls, patios, and maintain any storage areas in homes
  • Operate Outside Lawn/ Gardening Equipment
  • Know how to operate machinery as required
  • Work with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in Performance Development Review Process

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • One to Two Years of housekeeping experience, in a similar environment preferred
  • Positive Attitude
  • Must be Honest, Reliable, Self- Motivated, Team Player
  • Vehicle (reliable Transportation)
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and or Holidays as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work with chemicals according to directions
