The “Cozy Cottage” is a charming home secluded in the woods of Idyllwild, CA. This home features 2 bedrooms plus loft and 1 bathroom. The loft is located above the living room and is great for storage for those extra long stays. There are Queen sized beds in both bedrooms. This home would be great for a romantic getaway or quiet relaxation for the family. The large deck is such an asset during the summertime-ideal for entertaining and star gazing! The property has a large area for children to run and play. During the winter, you can build your own sled runs and snowmen! Guests can roam around the property and create their own nature walks or it’s just a short walk to town!

location is great for town visits. Older rental but well supplied. Isolated enough to feel like your in the woods.. Heater in the hallway was not turned on for our visit-- but we figured out how to activate.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this quiet comfy cabin with views of cedar trees out all the windows. The bed and couch were comfortable and we slept great every night. The kitchen was fully equipped with lots of small appliances as well which we appreciate as we cooked a few times. The stove, toilet and refrigerator seemed quite new. The cabin was clean when we arrived and the heat was on so it felt welcoming right away. The cabin reminded me of a place I used to stay in as a kid with my family. The property management company kept us well informed and we had an easy check in and out. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Christmas holiday in Idylwild. Cottage was perfect. Very clean and well appointed. There was even a full size/decorated Christmas tree in the living room. Nestled among the pine trees with a large deck. Great location - easy walk to the center of town. Property manager was very helpful and responsive.

My family decided on a peaceful weekend away in Idyllwild and I’m so grateful we did! It all begins when we found our Cozy Cabin rental. The property was set in a gorgeous setting in tall beautiful trees, with very rustic scenery which is exactly what my family was looking for. Cozy cabin was easy to find the description of the property was very accurate the layout of the cabin was simple and very functional, it was very clean & well-maintained. Property manager Niki was super sweet at the rental office when I completed signing papers and was given the keys, she assured me that anything I needed, all I needed to do was call anytime a day & anytime at night, nothing is too small to call over. Niki was super sweet and super professional. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives and plan on staying here again next time I visit Idyllwild California. My family enjoyed a short drive to Lake Hemet where we got on our bicycles and rode around the campsite looking at the beautiful views feeling the sunshine. My family also enjoyed homemade ice cream and delicious dinners lunches and breakfast out in town this Quaint town is very desirable when you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from something you are not used to when you live in a big city like we do. I recommend new spirit vacation rentals because they are so professional their properties are well-maintained and clean and Customer Service was above and beyond especially while corresponding with them through email they were writing me back within minutes. And were super accommodating to answering my questions and Managing our Cozy Cabin stay.

New Spirit Vacationa Services was exceptional with their service :) Nicole and everyone else was awesome with a pleasant friendly attitude. They answered all my questions promptly and professionally. They made the process so easy. The cabin was comfortable and just the right size for my husband and I. It had Everything we needed for our getaway. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the trees surrounding the home. Loved the deck and sliding doors to easily access the deck for views. The home has plenty of windows for sunlight & the view. The kitchen has great counter space too! Good home layout. Plenty of bathroom counter space too. Luv the bedroom with the sliding patio door and tree view. So pretty in the day and night. Large deck! Luv that this cabin is in a private tree setting but Close to town. Perfect location. Tip: the TV in the photos *is Bigger* than the photo.

We had a warm and comfortable five-day stay at the Cozy Cabin. The property is a (very) short drive to town, but is quiet and secluded, and came equipped with all the basic amenities necessary for a comfortable vacation. The home and furniture/linens/etc. are on the older side, but everything was in relatively good working order. There was even a lovely xmas tree lit up for our stay! Our only issue was that the freezer didn't work at all and the refrigerator never got particularly cold. Also--as to be expected in the winter--there were a number of friendly spiders who needed to be safely escorted outdoors :) A bit more attention to the nooks and crannies of the home would ensure that other renters aren't surprised by other eight-legged pals. That all said, the property management company was very friendly and professional, and provided clear instructions and good service. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My wife and I took our adult daughter to the Cozy Cottage for a two-day get-a-way. This property was perfect for a relaxing couple of days. The two days were probably the hottest days of the year, and the cottage has no air conditioning. Be prepared for that. Other than the AC, the location, layout, and amenities were great. The property is rustic, but cozy. Customer service was great, and I would recommend this property to everyone. Idyllwild is a cute little town and the Homemade Ice Cream place on the circle is awesome! I recommend the Cozy Cottage to all small families or a couple looking for an anniversary get-a-way.

Had a great weekend staying at this cabin. The space was clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but that's not what we were looking for. No major issues, although a few recommendations would be: better lighting outside on porch, water pressure in shower not great, no AC (it was a hot weekend), directions to find property were a little confusing. But overall it was a nice quiet place to relax.

From the get go this was an amazing experience. Spirit was prompt to reply to all my questions. Check in was easy, the place was a little hard to find because road signs were missing, but that wasn't Spirit's fault, and once we found it...it was easy. The little cottage is such a delight! Nestled into the woods it felt so private, even though there are a few other properties around. My pup got to meet the neighbor's horse, which was a lot of fun. All in all I can't recommend this place enough, especially for the price! We'll definitely be back soon.

We loved our weekend up in Idyllwild. The cabin was great, though quite dated. Our main issue was that we were not aware the cabin was located on an unsaved (thus unplowed) road, which is not ideal when you get 5” of snow overnight. If this would have been a summer rental the location among the trees would have been ideal!

PROS: Location was great. Good sized lot. Heater was effcient. CONS: There was an electrical problem with the oven so the property manager had to shut it of. For our inconvienece they said they would bring us coffe and some danish in the morning..... they did not. We had to sweep the deck when we got there due to the carpet of pine needles and branches. the hot water was not very hot and ran out quick.

Love the Cozy Cottage. The name fits. It is very comfortable & has all the necessities for a great time. Love the large deck & the views of the forest. It feels as if one is away from it all & secluded but actually it’s in walking distance to town.
Found the inside to be very clean & ready for occupancy. The only issue that the owners need to be made aware of is the sorry condition of the deck & stairs. It is in dire need of repair & refinishing.

My son loved climbing to the loft. I enjoyed the location with a forest for a backyard. I think there is a deer trail that runs through it, two walked through the day we left. The carpet and some details were a bit dated, but that’s about the only thing I could say about the place. Loved having a wood burning fireplace.

Great cabin, well stocked with kitchen and bath needs. It was very clean with exception of the loft which needed a little TLC to get rid of spiders and webs, but other than that it was tidy and clean. Location was very hard to find but when we called management they were attentive in helping us find it during after hours. The location was peaceful with large trees around. We enjoy sledding on the property too. Be sure to bring your our sleds.

We rented a van to take family there van was not equipped w chains to go down small road towards cottage so we parked at entrance to take down out bags to cottage
Neighbor had to wait for 3 minutes as we tried to walk up the icy hill with 3 ur old and.5 month old babies
He started to yell and tell us he wa gonna call the cops
He told us to go for ourselves
Extremely rude
We apologized and said we had never been there and couldn't take van down
He didn't care
Horrible experience in front of children
Other than that everything else was perfect

We rented a van to take family there van was not equipped w chains to go down small road towards cottage so we parked at entrance to take down out bags to cottage
Neighbor had to wait for 3 minutes as we tried to walk up the icy hill with 3 ur old and.5 month old babies
He started to yell and tell us he wa gonna call the cops
He told us to go for ourselves
Extremely rude
We apologized and said we had never been there and couldn't take van down
He didn't care
Horrible experience in front of children
Other than that everything else was perfect

We loved the Cozy Cottage. We found it clean & comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied & easy to maneuver. But what was the icing on the cake was the large easily accessible deck. Since we were there for summer we "lived" on that deck morning to evening. Beautiful views from all directions gave it the feeling of being away deep in the forest, yet were in walking distance to town & just off Hy.243.

Lovely quaint cabin just outside of town. Very clean and well laid out. And Nickie and Monica - always the best team to work with.
